To establish the Sultanate of Oman as a distinguished international hub for research and academic dialogue on the archaeological and cultural heritage of the Oman Peninsula, through periodic scientific conferences that contribute to documenting, understanding, and presenting the past to the world.

Mission

To organize a periodic international scientific conference that brings together researchers and scholars specializing in heritage and archaeology, fostering knowledge exchange and advancing both fieldwork and academic research on Oman’s archaeology. The conference aims to strengthen research partnerships while underscoring the leadership of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and Sultan Qaboos University in driving this scientific endeavor, and ensuring the dissemination of its outcomes according to the highest academic standards.

الريادة في ترسيخ سلطنة عُمان كمركز دولي مرموق للبحث والحوار الأكاديمي حول التراث الأثري والحضاري لشبه الجزيرة العمانية، من خلال مؤتمرات علمية دورية تُسهم في توثيق الماضي وفهمه وتقديمه للعالم.

الرسالة

تنظيم مؤتمر علمي دولي دوري يجمع الباحثين والعلماء المتخصصين في التراث والآثار، لتبادل المعرفة وتطوير البحوث الميدانية والأكاديمية حول آثار سلطنة عُمان، وتعزيز الشراكات البحثية، مع التأكيد على دور وزارة التراث والسياحة وجامعة السلطان قابوس ووزارة التراث والسياحة في قيادة هذا الحراك العلمي، ونشر مخرجاته ضمن أرفع المعايير الأكاديمية.
