 The 4^th International Conference of Microbial Ecology and Biotechnology

 It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 4th International Conference of Microbial Ecology and Biotechnology, to be held in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, from 13th to 16th of April, 2026. This international meeting will bring together scientists, industry experts, and policymakers to explore cutting-edge research on microbial diversity, ecology, and biotechnology, with a special focus on the unique and understudied ecosystems of the Middle East—ranging from deserts and hot springs to oil-polluted soils and marine habitats. The conference will include keynote lectures, oral and poster sessions, and networking opportunities, alongside the chance to explore Oman’s natural beauty. We especially encourage early-career scientists to participate—travel awards and low registration fees will be offered. 

Middle East Society for Microbial Ecology & Biotechnology 

A major highlight of this year’s conference is the official launch of the Middle-Eastern Society of Microbial Ecologists (MEsME), a regional initiative dedicated to fostering collaboration among scientists, coordinating research efforts in microbial ecology and biotechnology, and organizing regular scientific events throughout the region.
