Premature birth is a very serious health problem and is a leading cause of Infant mortality worldwide.

About 1 out of 10 babies is born premature worldwide, who suffer from the multiple complications of prematurity.

Every year, 17th November is celebrated as World Prematurity Day to raise awareness of the challenges and burden of preterm birth globally.

At SQUH, we have been celebrating this day for the last few years and this year too we will be organizing a Scientific conference on 16th November, to highlight the recent advances in the field of preterm care as well as other interesting topics.
