The notion of Frobenius manifold was introduced by Boris Dubrovin as a geometric realization of a potential satisfies a system of partial differential equations known in topological field theory as the Witten-Dijkgraaf-Verlinde-Verlinde, or WDVV equations. Beside topological field theory, Frobenius manifolds appear in the crossroad of many areas in mathematics like invariant theory, integrable systems, quantum cohomology, singularity theory and enumerative geometry.
The aim of this virtual workshop is to gather local and international researchers on Frobenius manifolds and its related topic and give them the opportunity to collaborate and exchange research ideas.
The list of speakers includes well-known researchers engaged in this field of research, and they will cover recent developments.
There will be introductory lectures on Frobenius manifolds on 30 March 2021.
These events are hosted by the Department of Mathematics, College of Science, Sultan Qaboos University and supported by Oman Mathematical Committee
