PAPER SUBMISSION

Submission Guidelines

We invite scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students to submit a full paper for presentation at the upcoming 4^th International Conference on Business and Economics (ICBE 2027), to be hosted by the College of Economics and Political Science, Sultan Qaboos University, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, and scheduled for 29–30 March 2027 as an in-person event. The conference will provide a platform to share cutting-edge research, exchange ideas, and foster collaboration among academics and industry professionals in the field of business.

Conference Tracks

Main conference tracks (submissions on closely related topics are also welcome):

1. Strategy, leadership, entrepreneurship, and organisational transformation in the AI era

Publication Opportunities

All submissions will undergo rigorous double-blind peer review, assessing originality, academic quality, relevance, and research integrity.
The journal Psychology & Marketing will present a Best Paper Award and two Runner-up Awards.
The selected manuscripts will be invited for submission to Psychology & Marketing, subject to the journal’s regular review process.
The organising committee of the conference will also present the Best Paper Awards.
Accepted papers will be considered for inclusion in the proposed ICBE 2027 Conference Proceedings, subject to the applicable publication requirements.

Submission Requirements

The conference accepts Full Papers presenting completed research with well-developed findings, analysis, and conclusions. Papers should not exceed 8,000 words, including the abstract, references, tables, and appendices.
Submissions must constitute original work and be written in English.
Submissions must not be under review elsewhere or previously published. The use of generative AI tools in preparing a manuscript must be disclosed; AI tools cannot be listed as authors, and authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy and integrity of their work. Research involving human participants must have obtained ethical approval where applicable.
Manuscripts should be formatted in Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1.5-line spacing. Manuscripts should include an abstract of up to 250 words and 4–6 keywords, use A4 page size with 2.5 cm margins, and follow APA 7^th edition referencing.
To enable double-blind review, the manuscript must not contain author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or other identifying information. Self-citations should be worded neutrally, and document properties (metadata) should be cleared before upload. Author details should be entered only in the submission system.
Authors should select one primary conference track. Interdisciplinary submissions may also indicate one secondary track.
Submissions that do not meet the stated requirements may be returned for correction or rejected without review. Corrected submissions must be resubmitted by February 15, 2027.
Late submissions will not be considered unless the submission deadline is formally extended.
At least one author of each accepted paper must complete registration by the registration deadline and present the paper at the conference in person.
Full papers must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
Authors are advised to review the conference tracks carefully to ensure that their submissions align with the conference scope.
