The purpose of this 3rd International Conference is to bring together worldwide experts to give presentations in the fields of Optimization and Numerical Analysis and related applications in the hope of promoting scientific exchange and discussing possibilities of further cooperation, networking and promotion of mobility of senior and young researchers and research students. In addition, presentations of novel and advanced applications in science, engineering, commerce, etc., are encouraged in order to facilitate cross-fertilization among various key sectors of pure scientific and applied knowledge.

The participants will present their results and discuss further new developments concerning applicable methods in their fields. The conference will feature lectures by invited prominent scientists and will provide the opportunity for regional researchers to present their latest work. NAOiii2014 is the 3rd conference in a series organized every three years, with previous ones held in 2008 and 2011. The Conference will be organized by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, College of Science, SQU, Oman.
