It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome you to the GCC Medical Education Conference on "Innovation and New Technologies," hosted in the vibrant city of Muscat, Oman, at Sultan Qaboos University from February 10th to 12th, 2025. This landmark event, organized by the College of Medicine and Health Sciences in collaboration with the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges in the GCC, with educational participation from the University Medical City, the College of Nursing at the university, the Ministry of Health, and both public and private academic health institutions. It marks a significant milestone in the ongoing series of medical education conferences within the GCC. Adding to its importance, the conference will coincide with the Committee of Deans' meeting, fostering enriched dialogue and collaboration among top medical educators in the region.

Over the course of these three days, we are honored to feature distinguished speakers from the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands, who will share their cutting-edge insights and expertise. The conference will serve as a dynamic platform for exploring transformative approaches in medical education, with a particular focus on the integration of innovative technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching, learning, assessment, mentoring, and wellbeing. In addition, we will offer a number of specialized workshops that provide hands-on experience, empowering participants to enhance their skills in teaching, leadership, professional development, and educational scholarship.
