The purpose of this 6th international conference is to bring together worldwide experts, researchers and academician from universities and research organizations to present their work and to share experiences and ideas on the application of Numerical Analysis and Optimization, and to promote scientific exchange and discuss possibilities of further cooperation, networking and promotion of mobility of senior and young researchers and research students. The conference will feature lectures by invited prominent mathematicians and will provide the opportunity for regional researchers to present their latest work. NAO-VI 2026 is the sixth in a series of international conference organized every three years, starting from 2008. The conference is jointly organized by the Department of Mathematics, College of Science, SQU and Oman Mathematics Committee (OMC). This reflects a strong collaboration of local mathematicians and the academic community in Oman. It promotes SQU as a center of excellence and enhances the visibility of mathematicians in Oman, and it also informs the world community about research activities in Oman.
