Conference Objectives
1.Examine the historical development of Omani–Russian relations across political, economic, military, social, and cultural spheres.
2.Assess the roles of Oman and Russia in addressing key regional and global challenges, including sustainable development, climate change, conflicts, economic crises, food security, migration, and natural disasters.
3.Identify and explore potential areas of bilateral cooperation in sectors such as tourism, industry, trade, education, health, transportation, security, infrastructure, urban and rural development, disaster management, and civil society initiatives.
4.Analyze the obstacles and challenges to enhancing bilateral partnerships and propose strategies to overcome them.
5.Raise awareness among the public and relevant stakeholders in both countries about the significance of their historical and contemporary relations and their contribution to sustainable development.
6.Promote collaborative research and academic partnerships between higher education institutions in Oman and Russia.
7.Facilitate an accompanying exhibition to showcase opportunities for investment, sustainable cooperation, and innovative ventures.
