This theme sheds light on studies related to future perspectives of international social work studies and proposals for developing social welfare policies and programs that align with current and future global changes. It also involves the analysis and evaluation of current social policies, identification of best practices and successful experiences in the field of social welfare at all levels, as well as the needs of social groups that are most affected by contemporary global changes. It sheds light on the forward-looking studies in order to ensure the inclusion of all affected groups, such as women, children, the elderly, refugees, internally displaced people, homeless, and others, who are affected by natural disasters, epidemics, international conflicts, and wars.
