The Journal of Educational and Psychological Studies (JEPS) is pleased to invite authors of all accepted presentations (papers and posters) from the Oman 23rd International ELT Conference to submit full papers in English for possible publication in a dedicated Special Issue.
Submission Details
Deadline: May 31st, 2025 (strict deadline – no extensions will be granted).
- Eligibility: Only authors who have registered for and presented at the conference may submit.
- Word Limit: 8,000 words (all inclusive).
- Submission Email: eltconference@squ.edu.om
Email Subject Line: "For JEPS Special Issue"
Review Process
All submissions will undergo a rigorous internal and external peer review, conducted by two separate review committees comprising 4 to 5 scholars in the field. This review process is expected to take approximately nine months, with the Special Issue scheduled for publication in 2026.
JEPS is an indexed journal (DOAJ, EBSCO, Google Scholar, Ulrich, Al-Mandhoma, Shamaa, and Arcif) with a high rejection rate, and editors and reviewers reserve the right to decline submissions at any stage of the review process.
Submission Guidelines
Manuscripts must adhere to the submission guidelines available on the JEPS Author Guidelines page.
- Authors should carefully follow these guidelines before submission. Papers that do not comply will be returned for revision.
No specific template is required—the journal will handle formatting of accepted papers. However, authors are requested to prepare and submit their manuscripts as a Microsoft Word file.
Publication Considerations
If fewer than seven papers are accepted for the Special Issue, JEPS reserves the right to publish them in one of its regular issues in 2026.
We look forward to your contributions and to advancing scholarly discussions in ELT through this Special Issue.
