Conference brief description 

Oman International ELT conference was founded in 2001 to serve as a professional forum for English language teachers and educators from around the world. The conference is held at Sultan Qaboos University in  Muscat, in the Sultanate of Oman. It provides excellent opportunities for sharing ideas, experiences and best practices in different areas of English Language Teaching. It is an exciting, stimulating and rewarding annual event for ELT professionals in all sectors.

The conference aims to bring scholars and practitioners in academia to share best practices and explore innovative ways of teaching and learning in the evolving context of ELT. In addition to its focus on ELT, the conference will also shed light on other critical life skills of learning and teaching Math and IT. The conference welcomes original empirical as well as theoretical research-based submissions. 

The Oman 23rd ELT International Conference to be held on April 17th and 18th, 2025 at SQU. In addition to the presentations and workshops we are inviting you to submit proposals for, there will be international plenary, keynote and featured speakers.

Registration entitles you to

Access and participation in the on-line ELT Program (Keynote speeches, Featured speeches, thematic presentations and workshops etc.) 

• Oman ELT Conference proceedings  

• Certificate of participation or presentation 

 
Registration does not include the following

• Fees for the Certified Workshops. 

Registration deadlines 

Oman 23rd International ELT Conference Registration Form (will be available 18th of November) and will be enabled according to the following deadlines: 

1. Presenter registration from ____ to _______ 
2. Early bird attendance registration 18th November 2024 to 31st December 2024 
3. Regular attendance registration 1st January 2025 to 31st March 2025 
4. Certified workshop registration 17th and 18th April  

Payment matters 

Please note that you are required to cover any bank charges and to account for any exchange rate differences. It is your responsibility to ensure that the money we receive into our bank account is the same as the appropriate fee. Please read the following information carefully before completing and submitting the registration form: 

Deadlines will be strictly adhered to. The fee payable is the fee which will be applicable on the date your form and payment is received.  

Please note that  

• There is no onsite registration. 

• Please ensure that your registration and payment are sent well before the deadlines. If you are registering close to a deadline, we recommend submitting the registration form online with proof of payment as soon as possible.  

• Payments or evidence of payments must accompany the registration form. No registration will be accepted without full payment. 

• An email of acknowledgement will be sent to you within one week after receiving your registration form and payment. 

• The conference organizing committee reserves the right to reject any registration that does not meet conference regulations including but not limited to conference deadlines 

Cancelation and Refund Policy 

Presenter registration

• After receiving a confirmation of acceptance, presenters are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of 30 Omani Rials. The completed registration form along with payment should be sent by 20th of February, 2025 to secure a presentation slot. 

• Once paid, presenter registration fees are not refundable.  

Participant registration fees will be refunded as follows

• In case you are unable to attend the conference and ,therefore, need to cancel your registration, please be advised that your request for cancellation should be received by the 22nd of March, 2025. You will be refunded the full amount you have paid. However, the refund of your registration fee will be processed one month after the conference dates. 

• Any requests received after the 22nd of March, 2025 will NOT be accepted

Consent to Use of Recorded Images and Audio 

By registering, presenting, attending, or participating in the conference sessions, keynote meetings and other activities conducted by Oman ELT International Conference, you agree to allow Oman ELT Conference to record, reproduce, and distribute your image or voice in photographs, videotapes, audiotapes, and any other methods of reproduction now and in the future. 

Use of personal details 

The personal information supplied in connection with this conference registration will be held by the organizers of Oman International ELT Conference as a record of attendees and will be used conference purposes only. By registering for this conference, the conference organizers may use that personal information to contact participants and presenters by email or telephone, in order to supply information relevant to Oman International ELT Conference.
