ABSTRACTS
Extended abstracts (maximum 2 printed pages including photos and tables) are required for presentations and will be published in the June 2023 issue, Volume 13(1), of Phytopathogenic Mollicutes. All the abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and must be formatted following the instruction and the template you can find below


The abstract submission will open on December 15th, 2022 and will close on February 28th, 2023

Abstracts for which no registration fees are received for at least one of the authors before April 14th, 2023 will not be printed in the abstract book and will only be evaluated as poster to be displayed on site.


ABSTRACT TEMPLATE & GUIDELINES
In order to submit your abstract for the fifth IPWG meeting you have to:

1. DOWNLOAD THE TEMPLATE
Download the preformatted abstract template (MS Word) provided here

2. PREPARE YOUR EXTENDED ABSTRACT
Type your abstract into the preformatted document following the instruction for
authors available here (.pdf)

IMPORTANT: Abstracts MUST be submitted as MS Word document
(.doc/.docx) - maximum file size 5 MB


3. SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT
The abstract submission will open on December 15th, 2022 and you will find the link to submit your abstract in this page


SCIENTIFIC SESSIONS
You can choose the topic that refers to the main subject of the abstract. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to re-categorize the abstract

1. Phytoplasma diseases of quarantine relevance
2. Epidemiology and control of phytoplasma-associated diseases
3. Insect vectors of phytoplasmas
4. Mixed infection of phytoplasmas and other pathogens
5. Phytoplasma diseases worldwide
6. Phytoplasma-host interaction
7. Phytoplasma omics
8. Reliable and fast pahytoplasma detection methods


 

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
Notification of acceptance of the abstract and type of presentation assigne by the scientific committee will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author before April 5th, 2023

TYPE OF PRESENTATIONS 
During the submission authors will be asked to indicate their presentation preference. Abstracts can be presented as:
• Extended Oral
• Short Oral
• Poster (also shortly presented as oral)


Final decision on the presentation type will be taken by the Scientific Committee
