Exhibition Information
Introduction:
On behalf of the College of Arts and Social Sciences at Sultan Qaboos University and the Organizing Committee of 8th International Conference of the International Association of Translation and Intercultural Studies (IATIS), we are delighted to invite esteemed national, regional and international universities, translation companies, public and private cultural and educational institutions, museums, and publishing houses, to participate in a special exhibition that will take place alongside the IATIS 8th conference in Muscat, Oman, from 10 to 13 December 2025 at Sultan Qaboos University.
This exhibition will celebrate the following:
- The central goal of Oman Vision 2040: the sustainability of culture, heritage, and identity
- Translation as a sustainability medium for culture, heritage, and identity
- Translation as a sustainability medium in intercultural communication
- The sustainability of Translation in the age of AI
- Translation industry and technology.
In addition to the participants of the conference, the exhibition is designed to attract delegates from private and public institutions, including delegates from educational and cultural institutions.

There are four different but connected s in zones in the exhibition:
